How do I request a change to my website?+
On the Monthly Care Plan, just email batesandcodigital@gmail.com with what you'd like changed. Not on a plan? Use Request a website update above, then email your changes. Most updates are done within 3 business days.
What does the Monthly Care Plan cover?+
Up to 1 hour of website updates each month: new photos, text and price changes, small fixes. Unused time doesn't roll over. Need more time in a month? Extra time is $30 an hour for care plan clients. Bigger projects, like a new page, are quoted separately.
How fast will you respond?+
I reply to emails and forms within 1 business day, and most updates are finished within 3 business days.
Why would my website go offline?+
Most sites are hosted on a free plan with a monthly usage limit. Heavy traffic or lots of updates in one month can use it up, and the host may pause the site until next month. Upgrading to a paid hosting plan fixes this. Use Report a problem and I'll help you sort it out.
Do I need to renew my domain?+
Yes. Your domain (yourbusiness.com) is in your name and renews once a year with the company you bought it from. Turn on auto-renew so your site never goes down because of an expired domain.
I lost my website files. Can I get them back?+
Yes, for sites launched within the last 12 months. Use Replacement website files above and I'll email them to the address on your account within 3 business days.
How do I cancel my care plan?+
Use the manage link in your monthly Square receipt email, or email batesandcodigital@gmail.com. Cancellations need 30 days' notice.
